Heartland Singers is a non-profit organization for the purpose of promoting the appreciation of music, to fulfill the musical needs of the community, and to serve as an outlet for musical talents.

Heartland Singers was organized in the fall of 1986 but the first concert was in March 1987 in conjunction with the local Sandhills Symphony.   

Our current director, Chrysanne Bailey, has been a member since Heartland started.  

Heartland Singers puts on two concerts each year.  One in the Spring and one for the Holidays in December.  

Each member is selected by audition and we rehearse at least 8 weeks for 2 hours each week until the concert.  There is a lot of hard work preparing for each concert.

We just celebrated 30 years of Heartland Singers in 1987!
